As a full-service interior design studio, Heart + Home Design Co. provides a wide range of Interior Design, Drafting, Project Planning, Project Management, and some Interior Decorating services to our clients.
We pride ourselves on providing high-level personalization and unwavering, kind-hearted customer service from the time we first meet, to when your project is complete!
THE PROCESS
How it Works:
Discovery Call
The discovery call is a quick 15-20 min. phone chat, to get a general idea of your project type, talk about your ideal timeline and budget needs, and to make sure H+H is the right fit to help you achieve your goals!

Greet
During the M+G, we will get to know each other over a zoom call or in person!
We'll dive deeper into your project needs and how Heart + Home will help you achieve your final goal, with examples of what that process would look like.

Concept Development
This is where the fun really begins!
Starting with a site visit/measure, or new build floor plans, I'll develop a design concept based on your wants + needs discussed in the M+G. This should take about 1-2 weeks, depending on the scale and type of project, and will include deliverables such as: 2D plans and 3D renders, project scope of work, and purchase estimate for required finishes and fixtures.
STEP 3
Yay! You’ve decided to move forward with your project! Revising and refining the design and details of your project is so important, it’s what helps the project run as smoothly as possible during the execution phase. After everything is finalized, I will create a final package for all drawings and selections ready for construction!

Project Execution
This is where the magic (and the mess) starts to happen! This phase has 3 parts: 1) Demo, 2) Install and 3) Finishing Details.
Heart + Home will manage the details of your project every step of the way, alongside trusted trades, to relieve you of stress and help make your dream space or home a reality.
STEP 5
This one speaks for itself, you’ve made it through, and your project is ready for you to enjoy!

I have been designing professionally now for over 6 years, and really feel lucky that I get to do this every day!
Looking back on my childhood, I can see now how interior design has been something I’ve always gravitated towards, whether it was by my dad’s side helping him with our full-home reno at the age of 8, or building house after house in The Sims for different made-up families. (If you know, you know!)
I started my journey at CNA, studying Architectural Engineering Technology, but knew that this sector of the industry wasn’t quite for me.
After discovering the Interior Architectural Design program at Pacific Design Academy in Victoria, BC, I knew I had found it: this was my niche!
In June 2017, I graduated at the top of my class from the Interior Architectural Design program and have been designing homes ever since.
I really love what I do. I pride myself on making my clients happy, and putting my heart into creating spaces that make them fall in love with their homes. At the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about for me!
In addition to being a full-time designer, I am a full-time mama caring for my baby girl, Emilia, during the day, so you may get to see my little assistant from time to time!

Having my own design studio has been something I’ve always dreamed of doing one day. And with no luck finding childcare, I couldn’t return to work. I wanted to continue working at my passion, I decided it was time I finally put my dream to action...
And now here I am, loving that I get to design your home!
